Not really much to say. Sony makes good quality stuff. I may have had only one of these crash ever. I use the gamut of Sony gear from home theater equipment to home gaming goodies.
It is better than the Timex slogan of taking a licking and keeps ticking. With Sony, it actually does really cool stuff and lasts a long time.
OK, what does all this mean concerning a simple DVD-RW machine? Not a lot, but I don't like replacing non-working equipment either. It is down time and hassle I don't need!
I probably own ten Sony drives and one Samsung Blu-Ray DVD-RW.
I put it in and the Win7x64 bit system read it and installed it in seconds. Put a J.Bond movie in and Voila! Done.
