1- Laser is not quite aligned with the blade.
2- Blade tears & chips out wood.
3- Saw can kick back when doing plunge cuts . This happened to me on the last of 4 plunge cuts. I thought that I did something wrong & tried it again - it kicked back even worse the second time. I recommend clamping a 2x4 or other stop block behind the saw to control the kickback.

4- You can't really see the blade - you will have to do a lot of practice cuts to know where to start & stop your cut. The same is true for the laser.
5- Because the saw plunge cuts you will have to use sacrificial lumber beneath it every time you make a cut unless you are making an edge cut.
MY opinion is that this is a fine tool for doing rough cuts for construction but not a very good precision tool for woodworking.
