It's a complete home theater sound system comprising only a single amplified soundbar and a wireless powered subwoofer. The JBL SB 300 soundbar houses dual 2-inch (51mm) midrange transducers and a 1-inch (25mm) dome tweeter with 50 watts of amplification for each of the two front channels. The wireless ported subwoofer features an 8-inch (200mm) woofer cone driven by 100 watts of amplification. That's real power, but it easily fits into any listening environment. Just connect the soundbar directly your television, DVD player or game console, and plug the subwoofer into any convenient power outlet. I bought this soundbar a week ago and it worked fine for 5 days. Then the sound would stop. 3 times. I had to turn the soundbar off and back on to get it going again. Quite embarrassing as I had company over and was telling them how great it worked and what a good price I got it at. Decided to see how things went with it. Fine for 2 days, then today - sound goes out. Have to turn it off and back on. I have contacted JBL regarding this problem and will revise this review accordingly after I see how they handle this problem.
