I checked a number of brands for saws similar to this one. I chose the Dremel because you can actually see the blade on the line you are trying to cut. On the other brands this is nearly impossible. It also comes with a guide for cutting 2x4's. Because it weighs about 1/4th of my 'contractor's grade' circular saw, this little wood eater is the saw I grab anytime I need to cut 2x4s, plyboard or OSB sheets. When making long cuts, I use C-clamps to hold down a long metal guide. The resultant cut is as straight as the original factory edge of the plywood, i.e no wavy cut line. Great saw. If practicality counts, it is eassily worth twice the price.
