This is my first internal Blu-Ray drive and my first impressions are that I'm happy with my purchase. I wanted a way to backup my hours of video and music but regular DVD's are a pain because of size. These BD discs with 20+ gig are working out great. The included software from Cyberlink works very well. Installation was easy using the SATA cable. It automatically updated the firmware the first time I used it. Ideally, I would like a faster drive but the industry just isn't there yet. For now, I'm a happy customer.
