After struggling along with a cheap jigsaw forever, it is really nice to use a good powerful saw. I haven't used it much, yet, but I have used it to cut hardwood lumber to rough size before I mill it. The barrel grip is a bit big for my hands and I don't have small hands. I wish the barrel was just a bit smaller. I considered returning it for the model with the handle but I do like the control the I feel with the low center of gravity so I think that I will keep this one.
The toolless blade change is nice. At first I wasn't pushing the blade in far enough, you have to give it a firm push, and it was just pulled out when I started using it. When you remove the blade, it is pushed out by the mechanism which is great for hot blades.
