This Oreck is built like a tank; which is what I was searching for, but runs very quietly. Really hadn't thought I would buy an Oreck, but when my Kenmore of over 25 years of use broke down I discovered that they don't make them like they used too. So I found this cannister by Oreck and I am very pleased with it. There is certainly nothing else out there. I got this at Amazon where the price was right and received it very quickly.
