I am an experienced quilter, with 25+ years experience. We bought this machine in our local Target store for my 10 year old daughter, that has been sewing with me for 4+ years, and has outgrown my hand-me-down Singer. This EuroPro looked exacetly like my Janome MC8000, and promised equal performance. It seemed sturdy and well balanced. Once we brought it home, we started sewing with it and immediately found two decorative stitches that just wouldn't work, and an annoying squieking noise inside the bobbin case. It also seemed like the feeder dog mechanism wouldn't quite perform as quiet and well as I am used to. We also never could get the Script Monograming going. Over the last 3 days I have tried everything in my power, AND everything that the Instructions suggested, without any success. Tomorrow I will return this machine for a refund and buy another Janome MC8000 on eBay!<br /> EuroPro usually makes a good quality machine, it is possible that this particular one just had problems, but I don't want to take any chances.
