I bought this machine back in september. This is my first sewing machine, I was using my mother's for a while when I was learning how to sew. I wanted a Janome because it is a very trusted brand and I have heard nothing but good things about them. This machine is awesome. When I get started on a project I normally am sewing for days on end and this machine just work flawlessly with any kind of material. It was hard getting used to the sensitive pedal that can go at super speed, but once you get the hang of it the fast-ness of the pedal can really be handy when needing to sew mundane straight lines.
I would say buy this machine, don't hesitate.
