I grew up with Electrolux. When I started housekeeping I purchased an Electrolux. During the course of my life I started a cleaning business and used just about every vacuum made. Just as I started housekeeping and up till now Electrolux is still my FAVORITE vacuum. They use to be very pricy and the price has come down but like everything else when the price comes down so does the quality. Don't get me wrong its worth every penny but the attachments and the brush hairs could be better. They use to use horse hair (I believe) in their brushes and now its synthetic. I'm just really sorry after spending tons of money on a Rainbow and then an Orick that I just didn't stick with the best Electrolux. You may think its a little pricy but trust me you get what you pay for. My first Electrolux lasted me 20+yrs!!
