As you can tell from the other reviews this unit works great, what they don't tell you:
- Fill the tank with HOT water - vacuum area first
- Only use 2oz. of solution, not four, per tank of water
- Use "Surface Stain" cycle to start, if the spot comes back use "Set-in Stain" cycle
- "Surface Stain" cycle will do four spots on one tank, "Set-in Stain" cycle will do two spots, plus it's a lot less hassle to fill the tank half as often.
- The hose and tool for manual cleaning work very well, I didn't think I would need them but they're good for the areas between the circles that are cleaned automatically. Should work well on stairs but haven't tried yet.
- To be honest, this unit takes a fair amount of work to move every few minutes, fill, and clean areas between circles manually. If you don't need it that often, sitck to the 'Resolve pet stain' spray and a rag. If you're lazy, it's great.
- End of cycle 'beep' not very loud. You can't hear it if you're in another room.
- Expensive but well made, you get what you pay for.
